SM64CDPY 1.8.0
the new Library and a refreshed interface
Version 1.8.0 adds a Library with a durable installation history, a deeper dark mode, rebuilt navigation, and consistent installation status across the app.
The 1.8 release adds a place to manage everything you have installed and polishes the interface so it feels more comfortable to use every day.
New Library
The Library brings together four views: Installed, Updates, Detected, and Recent. It is backed by a durable local installation history, so the app remembers what you installed even after it is closed or restarted.
Installed content can be verified against the game folders you selected, reopened from its source, reinstalled, updated, or removed from the app history. Removing an entry never deletes game files.
Interface improvements
Dark mode now uses a deeper, more comfortable near-black palette with softer borders and dividers.
Navigation was rebuilt around a stable top bar and a faster, clearer drawer that remains available while scrolling.
The Legal Notice and Links & Resources screens now explain the app’s scope more clearly and prioritize official project destinations.
Fixes
Installation status is now consistent across the catalogue, the Library, detail screens, and the floating overlay. When content is missing, the app shows Install; Reinstall is reserved for a version that is still present.
