Privacy
This policy explains how the website handles local preferences, hosting requests, downloads, and external services.

Local visual preferences
The app currently stores favorites, installation history, selected folders, and preferences locally on the Android device. Those app records are not uploaded by this website.
The light or dark theme choice is stored in localStorage under sm64cdpy-theme. The selected accent palette and intensity are stored under sm64cdpy-visual-preferences-v1. These preferences remain on the device and can be removed by restoring the defaults or clearing site data in the browser.
Cloudflare hosting
The website is delivered through Cloudflare. Like other hosting and security providers, Cloudflare may process technical request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, time, and security signals to deliver and protect the service.
SM64CDPY does not use that infrastructure to create advertising profiles. Cloudflare controls its own infrastructure records under its published policies.
Downloads and external links
The /download route redirects to the canonical Android package in the latest stable GitHub release. GitHub receives the final download request and applies its own privacy practices.
Opening links to Discord, YouTube, GitHub, Coop DX Mods, Google Drive, Dropbox, GameBanana, or other services connects directly to those providers. SM64CDPY does not control their logs, cookies, or account policies.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not set advertising cookies or use behavioral advertising analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to produce aggregate page-view, visit, device, country, and performance measurements, including Core Web Vitals. Its beacon is delivered by Cloudflare and reports through the site's first-party /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint.
SM64CDPY uses these measurements to understand site reliability and improve the experience, not to create advertising profiles or follow visitors across unrelated websites. Cloudflare processes technical information under its published policies.
Questions and requests
The project operator is Retired64 and can be reached at the official email shown on the contact page. Email messages may contain an address, name or alias, message contents, and attachments chosen by the sender. This information is used only to answer, document, secure, or resolve the request.
Contact records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, security, compliance, or the establishment and defense of claims, then deleted or minimized when no longer needed. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or portability by email. Identity may be reasonably verified before acting on a request.
Legal basis and minors
Technical delivery data is processed as necessary to operate and secure the site; contact information is processed to respond to the sender’s request and for the project’s legitimate administrative and security interests, subject to applicable law. SM64CDPY does not sell personal information.
The service is not designed to collect personal information from children. Minors should use community and contact features with permission and supervision appropriate to their age, and should not send real names, addresses, identity documents, or other unnecessary personal details. A parent or guardian may contact the project to request deletion of information sent by a minor.
