A plain-language explanation of what SM64CDPY is, what it provides, and where its responsibility ends.

Independent mod manager
SM64CDPY is an independent Android catalog and manager for community-created content compatible with SM64CoopDX. It helps people browse, download, organize, and install mods in folders they select.
Browsing the catalog does not require SM64CDPY to verify a game installation. The app only needs access to a compatible destination folder when the user chooses to install content.
No game or ROM distribution
SM64CDPY and this website do not distribute or install Super Mario 64, ROM files, SM64CoopDX, or Android builds of SM64CoopDX. They do not request, verify, or provide instructions for obtaining game files.
The SM64CDPY download contains the mod manager itself. Links to other projects are provided only as references or compatibility information.
No official affiliation
SM64CDPY is not associated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo, the SM64CoopDX team, or the authors of listed mods. Product names and trademarks are used only to identify compatibility.
Nintendo, Super Mario 64, SM64CoopDX, and other names or marks belong to their respective owners.
Community catalog and authorship
The main catalog presents public community listings from Coop DX Mods and preserves the published author, title, dates, versions, and source. A listing does not transfer ownership to SM64CDPY or imply endorsement by SM64CDPY.
Mod files, code, models, artwork, descriptions, and other credited materials remain the property of their respective authors or rights holders. Public availability is not presented as a transfer of copyright.
External and curated sources
Downloads may be obtained from the source made available for each resource, including community platforms and file hosts. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
The catalog primarily presents community-created game modes and experiences built with Lua, along with DynOS resources made by their creators. These are not downloads of the original game, ROMs, or SM64CoopDX. A file format alone does not prove ownership, licensing, integrity, or safety. VIP Mods, DynOS packs, Touch Controls, OMM Rebirth, Render96, and future curated sections may use separately maintained sources. Attribution remains with the credited creator whenever the content was not created by the SM64CDPY developer.
Open-source license and content licenses
The SM64CDPY application source code is published under the MIT License in its official repository. That license applies to SM64CDPY code covered by the repository license; it does not grant rights over Nintendo properties, SM64CoopDX, third-party services, or cataloged mods.
Each mod and resource remains subject to the license or permissions chosen by its creator. When no license is displayed, users must not assume that attribution alone permits copying, republishing, modifying, or commercial use.
Corrections and removal requests
Authors and rights holders may request an attribution correction, metadata update, source change, or removal. Include the content title, its source URL, what should be corrected, and a reliable way to reply.
Good-faith reports are reviewed using the available publication and authorship information. Requests about SM64CDPY should be sent to the SM64CDPY contact channels, not to Nintendo or unrelated mod authors.
