Version 1.7.0 connects real WorkManager progress, automatic installation, the floating bubble, and result notifications.
The 1.7 release reorganizes the entire download and installation flow so the state shown in the interface matches the work Android is actually performing.
Download and installation
Progress no longer ends visually when a download reaches 100%. When automatic installation is enabled, the app continues showing installation progress and only reports success after Android confirms completion.
Recovery is also more reliable after changing screens, rotating or minimizing the device, or recreating the app process.
Floating bubble
The bubble uses the latest available version as its primary option. Mods with multiple versions remain available from their full details without blocking the overlay’s quick action.
Notifications
Active operations keep their progress notification. Final results use a separate channel so users can learn about a completed installation or an error even while they are outside SM64CDPY.
